Gold bonds could be issued later this year

The director of the Central Bank of Venezuela José Khan said that to bring to market in gold bonds announced by President Nelson Merentes BCV need to have sufficient reserves.
Khan said it could happen later this year because the country produces 20 tons of gold per year and the current legislation is paying off because many producers have been recorded.

The director reported that the purchase of gold by the BCV has increased this year and January and February were purchased 1.08 tonnes.
