GW, my guess would be (1) yes, and (2) yes. I would think that the federal govt will continue its profligate spending to keep things up through the election; I expect the KRY outcome sooner. Not only gold stocks, but gold too, will likely fall on a big stock market drop as folks sell what they can sell to stay afloat. IMO that would be a buying opportunity for physical gold.
