Chavez calls to create popular militias in the communes

07 of February 2010, 15:09 Caracas, Feb 7 (Prensa Latina) President Hugo Chávez today called on the authorities the power to create popular militias to defend the Venezuelan Revolution in the 184 communes that were built nationwide.

According to the president, residents in these areas consist of hundreds of poor families should receive military training to repel any attack.

We will not attack anyone, but we must prepare to defend every inch of inch of the territory of the Revolution, said during the Sunday program "Alo Presidente".

Chavez said it is forming troops for the war of all people.
