The history of this stock began as a strictly business investment in textbook investments strategy. Now unfortunately it has become 1,000% political in my opinion hence the timing of this settlement will depend a lot on the interaction between Fung, China, Russia and his Royal Highness Hugo Chavez Frias and the elections in the fall.

Follow the history of Cuban politics as it evolved from 50 years ago and you will see the same pattern in Vz with HC's National Guard and all the occupations by these theives in private business. The National Guard is his private police force. Sometimes they wear uniforms, sometimes the wear ordinary street clothes and sometimes they wear Red shirts - same people. Who do you think will be out in the streets supporting HG when the anti-Hugo people will be out protesting on Jan 23? The Hugo "Red Shirts" but in plain clothes so Hugo will say people are on his side.

His MO is to always run a parallel event to political events. I can cite many examples but I'll give you a couple. When Bush made a tour of Latin America a few years back, HC organized his own tour in Latin America. Here is another one; During the Environmental summit of European leaders he ran his own summit at the same time. Counter attacking from his experience in the army perhaps. Familiar tactics.

A Castro maxim is "Seek the source of Power (Owners of successful businesses) and destroy them by expropriation". "People with no land have no power. Seize the land".

This is why HC calls Castro his "father".
