I think it's a case of pinning hopes of a news leak to a piddly 50K sending us up only half a penny.

A news leak would bring tens of million shares with a huge spike in price. I often am amazed myself when the board gets excited on a day when we trade down all day on heavy volume but close up a penny on a 400 share paint job at the close. Posters will say, wow, up a penny on heavy volume. News must be leaking or a conclusion is near when in reality most of the trades occurred below the prior day's close. Let's face it, some like to grasp at straws but it bothers others. I say, "to each his own."
