GoHorse...you are quite right. I wonder whether we have traveled too far down the road to a fascist state courtesy of the something for nothing mentality (i.e. populist voting block). How many true patriots do we have left? Not many I think.
The U.S. has more in common with Venezuela than many of us would like to admit these days. We wonder when the voters in Venezuela will wake up.
Mainstream America is getting pissed. I think it is going to take masses of people in the streets and wholesale "voting of the bums out" before things change. The overloaded switchboards in D.C. were 1000 to 1 against the wallstreet bailout. Most Americans are against "healthcare reform" as presented....no tort reform....what a joke. Our representatives in Congress ignored the voice of the people and sided with the voice of the corporations funding their campaigns. It makes me sick.
