While this is a nice response penned by RM, I don't see anything new in here. This has been his standard response for months now. They were also cautiously optimistic for a permit shortly after Easter a couple years ago and we all know how that went. It's crunch time now and the stakes are much higher. But unfortunately there isn't much more he can tell us. If there are talks going on, any release of info could impact the negotiations. I'm optimistic something could be in the works but I'm not sure it is going to be the payday anyone here would have hoped for. Put yourself in the other guys shoes. If you were China or Russia would you pay fair market value for this contract when you know KRY is on the ropes financially? I know I wouldn't. They aren't dummies. And before anyone responds that Fung would never accept a lowball offer, fine. Then that means we go to and are tied up in arbitration for the next 2+ years to obtain a reasonable settlement. Or we form a less lucrative JV with VZ which reduces our share price. Either way you slice it, it is still a rough road ahead IMO. But not impossible.
