I'm trying to understand the trading of the last few days. I, and many of us, expected that absent news, the big gains of the 20 mil share days would be eroded and we would gradually drop back to the 20s because momentum players would see the lack of news and move on. So the big drop of Monday was kind of expected although a little steeper than I thought it would be and later than I expected. However, the fast recovery yesterday took me completely by surprise. Who are these people that got in yesterday and why? I'm not complaining but I would be interested in any plausible theories.
