With resources of Pdvsa pacts with Russia will be pleased

The leaders of Venezuela and Russia signed an ample agreement in September

Venezuela will pay with resources of Pdvsa the commitments derived from an ample agreement subscribed with Moscow in diverse areas and that would include the purchase of Russian armament, according to Official Newspaper Not 39.312.

President Hugo Chavez said, in September, after a visit to Russia, that country would give to Caracas $2,200 million to acquire fighting equipment, including anti-missile tanks and systems, emphasized Reuters.

“The payments that are necessary will be made by Pdvsa in the name of the Bolivariana Republic of Venezuela from an account abierta in the Russian bank Evrofinans Mosnarbank”, stands out mentioning the agreement, signed the 10 of September.

The Oil National Partnership (Lukoil, Gazprom, Rosneft, Surgutneftegaz, TNK-BP) will set up a mixed company with Pdvsa to extract up to 450,000 barrels per day of crude in the Orinoco in a project by $20,000 million in investments.
