If that was the case, is it possible that, if indeed we are close, that Venezuelans close to Sanz, Herera, Ortega, and any other official in the know, have been buying like crazy. To them, this is not a rumor, this is the real thing. T

Their buying would have set this whole thing in motion. Then there may be (probably are) friends of theirs in the west that got the word. For relatively poor VZ'ers, even being able to buy 1000 shares would end up giving them more $$$ than they've had at one time. The folks with American $$ that want to get into something, well, this would be their chance.

And what about Sanz etc. Couldn't they buy through a second party?
