Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
You are 100% correct although I'm not seeking a quick pop to bail. I would take profits but I would keep at least half in for arbitration.
I was very open months back that I changed my views of KRY from valuating it based on mining profit to what it would gain in arbitration.
Each of us has a cost basis and with that our individual goals. I've been in KRY for over 4 years and I have purchased as high as $5.99. I got my cost basis down by buying a lot below .20 and in the low .20's as wel as trading around my position when taht was still possible.
While it is not important to me how much others want to make, it is MY opinion that the only way we will see a PPS above $1.00 is through arbitration. There should be nothing evil in my having that opinion.
#1 - I long ago gave up on the idea of KRY mining LC
#2 - I've rarely seen a buyout come with a 100% + premium over current PPS. Where we are now...that is not much of a pop.
#3 - Joint venture...maybe but I doubt it considering all the bad press on how evil KRY is over the years and that a 3rd party could just wait for us to run out of money and get the mine 100%.
Therefore I see arbitration as the best path to success because:
#1 - We would put teeth in our claim and perhaps get VZ to take action. Right now they are just waiting for cash to dry up. Even just offering to reimburse our investment in social projects would lift our value substantially.
#2 - Our PPS would give us a higher base for a buyout by a company wanting to buy the arbitration value. This was one of the things a major GRZ shareholder reccommended in an SEC filing.
In short, I have been in this too long to just want a selfish quick pop to bail, which I think is what you are suggesting. I have set my goals based on the valuation I believe can be achieved. For me that just happens to be through arbitration. For that reason, I think it was a mistake to wait so long.
I continue to be amazed that the only "acceptable" path to prosperity is to put full faith and hope in Fung's ability to negotiate with VZ. I just have a different opinion about what the path should be. As will no doubt be pointed out, I am not Fung and don't know what he knows. None of us do. In the absense of any information from KRY, I simply put more faith in a path that at least at this point has one example that it can be profitable (GRZ).
Now I'll sign off and go do some work and let people remind me why I am evil to have a different opinion or God forbid that I might actually want to make a profit.
