I am still stunned by the fact that Chavez has CHOSEN to ignore these people, after they had agreed to his/Sanz's 'deal' to stop the illegal mining and the destruction of the enviroment. If there is one thing that Chavez has always touted, it is helping the poor make a better life for themselves.

Is it really all a sham? Is he really just interested in his BIG picture, so much so that he has no connection with what is going on, or doesn't give a damn?
