You are correct. Aside from Richard Marshall....no one in management at Crystallex has felt that it was worth taking a risk with their own hard earned money to invest in their own stock. RMs purchase may very well be company sponsored for PR purposes anyway. Bear in mind, however, that management is in high level talks with high level Venezuelan officials so perhaps that explains their lack of interest.
