Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
I've been reading for an hour and a half, and can feel the frustration, the anger, the hurt, and the care. JC, you'd make a very good mediator.
I think in all this emotion, position taking and defending, we may have lost focus on the basics of the situation.
First, lets look at the leader of KRY. I don't think anyone would suggest that Rober A Fung got to this place in his career, by sitting back and doing little in such a critical time in a companies future. So, if we can agree on this ( for doubters, google Robert A Fung..credentials ), then we have no choice but to accept that he is working very hard to have this situation with OUR company, work out to our benefit. This man is very experienced in dealing with 'SITUATIONS', and the need to keep people informed of the progress in those particular situations, is a given. THE FACT THAT WE ARE NOT BEING TOLD ANYTHING, IS AN INDICATION THAT THIS IS A VERY TOUCH SITUATION. If it was not, and there was little going on, it would be easy. A little press release, telling us all some kind of spin.
I can see no other outlook on this, but to accept that there are sensitive/touchy negotiations going on, with very powerful, influencial, and successful people. And I think many out there know, that those kind of people are often quite 'quirky', to put it mildly. In other words, there may just be too many 'egos' involved here, to be able to get a consencess concerning what, if any, info can be given out to the public. ( and tho' it may be hard for most here to accept, that's us )
Concidering the country, the leader, the political and economics, this is bound to be a complex situation to work out. On top of that, as mentioned, GRZ's situation is very likely involved, with the possibility of Rusor, Polyus, another gold major, the illegal miners, and the very serious economic crisis we are in, not to mention VZ politics and you have the makings of an extremely complex enviroment to try and work out KRY's situation.
I guess what I'm saying is, that yes, everyones frustration is totally understandable. However, if one looks at the quality of the goods here, the price of gold, that NEED to get the SP moving up, ....well...
IF there was any safe way to tell us shareholders something, don't you think that management would love to get us off their backs?
