While I would love for this to be true I don't think anyone should get to excited about Barrick raising money. There are a lot of potential projects they could go after that wouldn't be of the magnitude of LC but also wouldn't be dealing with Hugo. There are definitely different degrees of political risk out there in other countries without going to VZ.

I think we forget sometimes that just because we want a deal done right now there are a lot of projects for the big guys to chose from. That said if someone can find a strong connection between Barrick and Russia then I would be more open to the possibility that Barrick might be our savior.

Don't mean to be a downer but I've see this dream before.
