Your argument/opinion is very strong if the buyer is going to use the purchased custom mining equipment in the manner it is intended, specifically at LC.
If it is necessary to sell the mining equipment on the free market, it might not go that way. What has been termed as generic mining equipment would appeal to a wider audience of buyers, even in this bad economy. While custom mining equipment might require extensive modification or have customizations unnecessary to the buyer. Customized mining equipment may not fetch a premium on the free market because the buying audience narrows. Obviously, there are a lot more variables depending on the type of equipment, level of cutomization, what the buyer needs, the number of interested buyers, etc.
Because of the turbulent situation in Venezuela one should be prepared for just about anything. A sell off of the mining equipment is not something I like to think about because of its implications.
