CJR, I don't recall anything actually from Minamb on this. The one point I was trying to make is that back in Oct 2007 the Russians were still waiting for their environmental permit in KM88 for Kaolin mining. They are still waiting today.

As for the concessions being given out recently, yes they have but still no permits to anyone from Minamb. I would think Minamb would be under a little pressure at the moment and/or in a quandry of what to do. I would imagine they are rcvg heat from both sides now. Not only it seems that the gov't wants to get gold moving but also the Ceramic City. It all sits in KM88 and will be open pit in the Imataca.
