There must be intelligent people that can see what he is doing to Venezuela and care enough to try and stop the madness,or maybe not?

I had a discussion with a Cuban friend whose family escaped in the 60's. I argued that the middle class and anyone with above a room temperature I.Q. in Venezuela must be disgusted with Hugo (case in point the brain drain to Miami) and will vote him out ASAP. He said no...like a frog in a pot of water that is slowly being heated up....many otherwise rational people (not just the poor and uneducated) would continue to support Hugo. I still find that concept difficult to accept.
