to all (especially don), maybe folks who are concerned about the legality of taking on a partner (or investor like GG) should email RM...i'm kinda curious what his response would be, but i have no doubt the deal could be done one way or another..

stating that "no major would touch this" shows little knowledge for what is truly going on in the mining industry.....there are very few large, easily accesible deposits left and all of them are in hostile, backward ass locations. majors enter into "gambles" every day to allow them access to deposits.

the beauty of a deal like this would be that it would secure kry's financing (for either arbitration or mining) and at the same time allow a major to place a claim on LC for a song....it's not like an investor would have to kick in $300mil today....just provide about $10mil per quarter until we are permitted (then finance the mine) or wait until a settlement on arbitration to re-coup thier money.

with the current unrest developing in venezuela i no longer believe arbitration is our best route. if we could secure financing we should sit pat and wait for a change in government...i can see where kry could be mining within 1-2yrs...in a much more friendly environment.

imo, the writing is on the wall, honduras is changing, then ecuador, then venezuela...etc. within a couple years south america will be a great place to invest again for a decade. i'm real anxious to see if the russians come up with any money come the end of august.
