Tumeremo .- Given the lack of existing in the mining sector, the Bureau agreed mining technique to become a spokesperson in the sector, to seek and promote initiatives to achieve cooperation and complementarity with the Ministry of Basic Industries and Mining ( Mibam), the national mining company, ministry of environment, shelter miner (TO5) and mining organizations, in order to coordinate and ensure the development of mining activities in the framework of an environmental control, legal, administrative, fiscal and operational by the Venezuelan State.
With this premise was recently carried out a very large meeting of the Bureau's technical mining at the mining unit of the South, attended by representatives TO5 (51 Infantry Brigade and 512 Battalion of Infantry Jungle Gral . divisional Heres Thomas "), major (Ejnb) Victor Paz and Luis Bustamante, Ministry of the Environment, engineer Alonso Sierra; SENIAT, José Manuel Lozada, and mining associations and cooperatives, many of them clustered in the unit Minera del Sur ( UMS), Antonio Rivas, Pablo Zambrano Rafael Madero and Omelio Cabeza, among others, made articulate a series of points that are trying to organize the mining activity in southern Bolivar state.
Another of the points agreed at the meeting was that the association of small-scale miners, millers, and battery of El Dorado, undertook to supply the competent authorities with a complete dossier on its legal status, certification of membership, mining law, number of members, equipment and inventory of fiscal responsibility. Also agreed to urge the ministry of environment, timely response to concerns about the environmental permits required by the mining organizations.
It was further agreed to conduct a joint operational audit and inspection work in the areas of the mills located in the trunk 10, to verify their legal status, operational and environmental. With the premise that after the operation, will extend a truce or administrative order, "so that the mills have some comments to a reasonable time to catch up.
