Venezuelan diplomats will not leave Honduras

Venezuelan diplomats will not leave Honduras because the order was given by a "putschist" government which is not recognized neither by Venezuela nor by the rest of the countries, said on Tuesday the Venezuelan Embassy's charge d'affairs Ariel Vargas.
"We do not recognize the government of Roberto Micheletti. It is a de facto government (...) which took part in a coup and is supported by the military," Vargas said to reporters at the doors of the Venezuelan Embassy in Tegucigalpa, AFP reported.
Vargas was asked whether he feared that the Venezuelan diplomats would be expelled by force. The Venezuelan official replied: "The only thing missing is that the putschist government does that (...), thus violating each and every one of the international diplomatic" conventions.
