Hi All...Hope you south of my border had a great 4th of July weekend!!

I'm quite surprised that there hasn't been more action by Joe/Jane public concerning the quite specific comments by Chavez that Russian / Chinese will be mining a 'world class gold mine', and that VZ is borring 4 Billion to develop the mining industry, and paying it back partially with the gold from the mining.

To me, this is about as close as Chavez could come to saying that the Las Cristinas gold mining fiasco of the last 40 years, and specifically the last 7, is finally going to come to an end, and Crystallex, who has the contract to mine that 'world class mine, is going to be bought out in some form or other.

I can't read it any other way.........I guess the info and reports that we gather has not trickled down to the general public?

Friday on the TSX, price was up 20% over the week, but friday trading volume was only 69,000 shares!!!......Traders holding their collective breath?
