By presenting a paper at the Ministry of People's Power for the Environment (Minamb), Deputy Minister of Planning and Environmental Management of the office, Sergio Rodriguez, told members of the National Land Management, the objectives and scope of it, whose vision includes the use of nationally until 2030.

At the meeting were the progress made in drafting the National Plan for Land and reached agreements to continue the work of compiling information on all the sectors involved.

Among the most important things, noted the agreement reached to hold a workshop in which it is an analysis of what sustainable national plan, in addition to the discussion that was generated, which ended with the decision to proceed with the work plan proposed by the Minamb.



The paper establishes the concept of endogenous development as essential for sustainable sectoral approaches and priorities defined as Western, Eastern, North Llanero, Montano (Andes - Falcon), Apure-Orinoco, coastal, Alto Orinoco, and Black River Special Areas of Conservation and Biodiversity.



Now, "to complete the technical documents and sectoral adjustment with territorial view the potentials and weaknesses in the country, to give a suitable scale plan of organization, depending on the environmental and resources available to Venezuela" , said Rodriguez.



At the end of the work is expected to have a document that expresses how the country will be occupied in more than 20 years, with a strategic vision of national integration, which takes into account factors and baselines, for example, water as critical resource, not only as a vital element of consumption, but use of electric power generator, said the deputy minister.



He also explained that the working paper that was delivered to the National Spatial incorporates themes such as the Essequibo, the demarcation of the territory of indigenous peoples, the risk variable, the provision and management of solid waste and hazardous waste, and socio-cultural manifestations.



Rodriguez recalled that the National Commission for Land is formed by the ministries of the People's Power for Science and Technology, Intermediate Industries, Basic Industries and Mining, Planning and Development, Agriculture and Lands, Tourism, Petroleum and Energy, Public Works and Housing , Interior and Justice and Defense Council of the Nation, which corresponds to Minamb and the Technical Secretariat and, therefore, coordination in developing the plan.
