Bill--you are one of the great members on this board. Your feelings towards VZ track with mine. I love reading your posts. However, I think you are falling into the negotiating trap set by VZ. I think they have deliberately tried to create such a hellhole of an environment that KRY management would settle on the cheap. That is why I liked what I heard from Bob yesterday. He stated that KRY was "making it quite clear" to VZ the value of our contract. The only way you can fight evil is to stand up to it. I say no settlement until fair value is given. This mess would have already settled if Bob wanted to get out cheap. I believe, rightly or wrongly, that KRY will not accept a low ball offer. I applaud that. KRY will never get a decent offer until VZ knows that we will go to arbitration if necessary. And even if it goes to arbitration doesn't mean it will last 3-5 years. Once VZ realizes we demand fair settlement then they could just as easily settle the arbitration case.
