"Thanks, I think you are correct Spaceguy, lets hope they honor their treaty with Canada. Maybe they could play us a game of hockey to decide it?"
Only if Chavez plays goalie. I think our guys would have fun taking shots at him. Of course, we wouldn't run the goalie, that wouldn't be honourable, something Chavez knows nothing about. I'm a little more jaded today after the AGM. Yesterday, I honestly believed the permit might come anytime but today I'm convinced it's just a pipe dream. I still think RF is a very smart 'money-man' so he must have received a low ball offer that, of course, he wouldn't tell us about. (That wouldn't be honorable.) Also, at this early stage of the negotiation, it might be a little embarrassing because these offers can be a little unrealistic, but you have to start somewhere. Wish our guy had set the bar higher than $2B. They might just take him up on that and all he has to fall back on is that he has hired experts in that field to ascertain the value of the company. Doesn't make sense to throw out a number if this is the case. (He sounded very ill, so I'll forgive him this one, after all I'm a Canadian and I know a thing or two about honour. Just don't know how to spell it.....LOL
Please don't anyone out there tell me to have patience. I felt a lump in my throat when a questioner near the end admitted he'd been a shareholder for 14 years. I'm not quite that long but you don't realize what it's been like until you've been there.
