So Venezuela plans to spend 2 Billion Dollars for no good reason....simply because their excellent corporate citizen is from North America....this in an economic downturn with no money in the government coffers and the stated goal to commence mining this year. Alright. Makes sense to me. Rest assured...Venezuela has no intention of paying KRY 2 billion dollars just for a contract (imo). Either some other company from the axis of evile coughs up the money or we go to arbitration.

By the by....Did anyone ask Fung to opine on whether we have to waste our time going to the (ah hem) "Supreme" Court of Venezuela prior to filing for International Arbitration? Did Fung give an opinion on whether we could finance a five year legal battle? TIA
