Caracas, 19.06.09 (Press Minamb) .- The Minister of People's Power for Environment, Yuvirí Ortega, moved to Bolivar state, directors of the agency to inspect and find solutions to environmental problems in the states of Bolívar, Amazonas and Delta Amacuro.

Among the subjects diagnosed is the mining, air pollution generated by certain basic industries and the status of timber harvesting in the three federal agencies.

"At the present time the Director of Forests, Leonardo Lugo, is observing the ecological disaster with respect to the timber and the Director of Environmental Quality, Clifford Peña is located in San Felix, in order to monitor the pollution generated by public and private, "said Ortega Yuriví, minister of People's Power for the Environment.

Officials in the state will monitor the environmental problems affecting the region and, in turn, generate immediate actions to remedy the situation. Similarly, Ortega stressed the possible restructuring of the ministry and then set a Viceministerio in Bolivar State that address the environmental concerns that are illegal currently, meanwhile announced that Minamb will have a permanent presence in the three regions (Bolivar and Amazonas Delta Amacuro), through their deputy ministers and directors.

Shall also seek appropriate solutions to the problems present in this region, and in this sense, we have the cooperation of the governor of Bolivar, Francisco Rangel Gomez, the garrison state of Bolivar, the Bolivarian National Army, the Bolivarian National Guard and logistical support for the Vice Presidency of the Republic.

"It is important to note that the southern Venezuela is rich in natural resources and rich biodiversity. Moreover, in the case of Bolivar state, are important rivers in the country, such as the Orinoco, Caroni and Caura, "he concluded. (Fin / Edgar Alonzo)
