Saturday, 20 June 2009
The secretary of the union organization Single Alcasa workers (Sintralcasa),
Henry Arias, said that the Venezuelan State to give "green light" for the
investments in basic industries by the Chinese businessmen.

With 5500 million dollars in hand, the Chinese fund is awaiting the decision of
the High Government to invest in projects to preserve the stability of companies
in Guyana and who also have the backing of the Ministry of Basic Industries and
Mining Rodolfo Sanz .

Arias, who also serves as director Alcasa work, said that 3000 million of this
amount will be referred to the green to honor the labor liabilities, while the
remaining 2500 million will be contributed to the technological upgrading of all
the sister companies of aluminum.

Notably, the Asian influence in the core business strategy was agreed at a
meeting in recent days Bauxilum, where the owner was present resident, plus the
presidents of Alcasa and Venalum, together with labor union leaders and
managers.

Bauxilum needs Alcasa also

The secretary of the organization knows that the priority must be the aluminum
sector recovery Bauxilum because of the alumina which is produced there, and
dependent companies like Alcasa Venalum.

"Alcasa and Bauxilum need in the immediate recovery of the cells," he said.
According to his testimony, the pioneer of aluminum has a line out of service
with approximately 222 cells disqualified.

The labor leader also reiterates that workers opt to workers' control where
managers are also involved and Venezuela without exclusion.

"We do not believe in the self because it has been shown in countries like
Colombia that has failed. Moreover, its failure was responsible for workers,
"noted Arias.

It was also in favor of the co-workers where they are in understanding with the
Venezuelan State in charge of directing the fate of companies. GH
