kbecker.....I suppose you are new to this sight, so you've missed the many many months of DD and discussions here. It is rather complicated to say the least, because we are dealing with a pretend democratic leader who is really closer to a dictator. He is also so idealistic, that he shots off his mouth without thinking things through, and is very spoiled from having had so much moolah from oil.

On top of all that, this is central/south america. Politics and policies are not easy for the western mind to grasp, concieve, and basically wrap are minds around.

I suggest you go back a few months, and look at some of the posts that have been recommended, at least 5 times. That might give you a bit of background.
