Best guess (of those willing to talk about it) is that the culprit out to off the Chavez man is Luis Posada Carriles—not the CIA (although Carriles did work for the CIA back in the 60’s and 70’s). Carriles is BIG anti-Castro and I mean BIG! He has been in and out of prisons throughout Latin America, has admitted to bombing and killing dozens of people when he blew up a Cuban airliner. He is a real wrecking machine.

Word is, Carriles is pretty much of a rogue—ronin. While the CIA will not actively aid or abet, they can and probably would ignore and passively avoid and hence, allow Carriles a free reign—don’t ask, don’t tell. Call it aid and abetting through passive neglect.

Chaves knows it’s Carriles who he is locking up with, but threw in the CIA because that is his way. My sources say that ever since Clinton empowered the FBI from an International perspective, that the CIA is pretty much of a paper tiger. They would not touch involvement in an assassination—period. However, there are old partnerships, blood feuds and rivalries that transcend agencies. Word is, wet work anymore is purely in the private security contractors’ ballywick. Ideological assassination is out. Show me the money.
