Erenio Marquez and Donna Torres, spokesman for the company's workers, said they make themselves known after the decrees which require the company to deliver its Brisas del Cuyuní "physical facilities and their movable and immovable property, including the Office of Drug Control Ministry of Basic Industries and Mining (Mibam), from there there was great distress because so far nobody knows what will happen to the direct jobs over a hundred people.
In this situation, stressed-Marquez are people over 16 years of service with the company, hoping to consolidate the construction and subsequent operation of the Brisas Project. In the resolutions published in Gaceta Oficial, never said what will happen to the workers. We do not want to violate our right to work, but even in this area when there are no alternate sources of employment, not the rest of Bolivar state, but also takes into account the plight of basic business Guayana.
The Brisas project which provided for joint exploitation of copper and gold-workers agreed to state-estimated both the hopes of not only the employees, but also created expectations within the community of Las Claritas as much of the same capital Sifontes municipality, Tumeremo. So when all workers and employees of Brisas del Cuyuní we have received the accrued benefits of our duties as the company has fully complied with their duties.
