Mauro Suarez, secretary general of Patria Para Todos in Bolivar State (PPT),
upheld the disqualification policy for three years issued by the Comptroller
General of the Republic against Carlos Chancellor, elected mayor of Sifontes.

Suarez said that this is another example of "extraordinary from Venezuelan
justice and transnational Crystallex gold" against municipal representative who
is currently detained in Patrols Caroní awaiting a trial.

According to the motion signed by the Comptroller General Clodosbaldo Russian,
the justification of the prohibition is not the cancellation of a tax objection
to an administrative penalty, after which this entity to conduct a management
audit of Chancellor.

However, Suarez said that the payment was made on August 25, 2008 with a
management check in the amount of 42 thousand strong bolivar and it was charged by the attorney and trustee in the income of the Mayor Sifontes from October 14 of that year.

Moreover, he emphasized that there is a case that rests on the record 042,534,
which states that "the prohibition to exercise any public function begins to
take legal effect after the expiry of the period for which the representative
was elected popular sanctioned, thus disabling where appropriate will be
activated from the year 2012.

"The justice in Venezuela is disabled, has a political bias and economic justice
in Venezuela must comply with the rule of law does not conform to the whims of
Crystallex and its partners in the Bolivar state," he said.

Suarez reported that the awning policy along with a group of people Tumeremo
brought before the Comptroller General of the Republic a document containing the evidence to support the injustice of this policy of prohibition against
Chancellor.
