Guasipati. - Workers and union leaders of the auriferous companies that operate to the south of the state Bolivar, realised in the morning in hours of general assemblies to discuss yesterday just approved Resolution N§ 09-04-03, emitted by the Central bank of Venezuela, which changes to the norms on the regime of gold commercialization and its alloys.
Union representatives of the construction, heavy machineries, mining, among others, affirmed that this Resolution condemns to the bankruptcy the auriferous companies, which would generate unemployment and therefore collapse of the economic apparatus of the located populations in this part of the region.
The referred Resolution of the BCV forces the operating gold companies “to destine to the internal market, at least seventy percent (70%) of the total of its auriferous production, caused within each quarterly calendar, within the national territory”.
Of this percentage, a sixty percent (60%) will have obligatorily for sale to be offered by the Central bank of Venezuela and a ten percent (10%) will be destined to the national transforming sector. The thirty percent (30%) remaining could be exported by means of authorization of the BCV.
The union leaders Jesus Red Vicente Perdomo and Eladio, severely criticized this Resolution, during a multitudinal assembly of workers that was developed in the inner door of the Ramel company, located in Guasipati and which operates like PMG contractor.
These labor representatives affirmed that the BCV approved this Resolution of arbitrary way inconsulta and, not knowing the reality and the serious consequences that could generate this norm in the municipalities of the south.
They explained that the BCV drastically changed the rules of the game, since the auriferous companies placed the 15 percent of their production to this banking organization, now wants to force the auriferous factories to for sale give the 70 percent of the production at the cost of controlled dollar.
Perdomo and Rojas indicated that just approved normative it will cause the closing of the mining companies, which would leave in the street of direct form more than 1 thousand 500 workers, without counting the positions of indirect uses that catch the auriferous companies.
Representatives union did call to representatives of mayorships of municipalities of the south, of government of state Bolivar, deputies regional, parliamentary nationals, authorities of ministries of Mining, Finances, Atmosphere, among others, so that they evaluate the situation very well that is appearing with the mentioned Resolution of the BCV, which attempts against the life of the towns of the south.
They requested of responsible way and in the name of the mass worker of the mining companies that deroguen the mentioned legal instrument immediately, since they are not going to allow that no auriferous company closes its doors and that no worker loses his position of use by this cause.
They alleged that all the unions that operate in the auriferous companies will maintain in permanent meetings to exhaust the routes of the dialogue and to obtain a serious and sensible exit. While they made clear that of not obtaining an answer satisfactory of the competent governmental organisms, they develop to forts action of streets, even the closing of main the 10, to make him include/understand to the beings of the State the error that are committing.
