Nope.

While we ran the mines in VN we had the requirement to sell gold locally. We got the current world price in US dollars, but got paid locally in Bolivars and could not access the official exchange rate market, instead being relegated to the parallel market with a very bad exchange rate. That resulted in significant currency translation losses. You can look back at the old annual reports and the notes explain this very clearly.

In the past, KRY has applied for a license to convert at the official rate but never got a resposne as far as I recall.

The only bright spot is that if we do get a permit, we will not be selling much gold for several years and a number of things could happen that would remedy this. Examples would include a significant devaluation of the official Bolivar rate, changes in government policy in the wake of what will be an economic collapse, a bullet to Hugo for the same reason.
