Goldsmiths of the Pebble are thankful for management of Luis Herrera

The Goldsmiths of the Pebble, organized in the Cooperative Association “Cochano 983”, are thankful for the support and unconditional advising that the presidency of CVG Minerven has maintained, preserving this way the artisan jewellery in the locality.

Carlos Antonio Fertile valley, president of the Cooperative emphasized that from the arrival of the Engineer Luis Herrera Mendoza to the presidency of the had the charge of miner, he has been in charge personally to visit the factories of manufacture, center of exhibition and sale of gold, to the aims to state the worthy work that day to day is done, hiring and enriching the culture of the Pebble.

He emphasized in addition that the goldsmiths have been fighting because the traditional jewellery stays in ascent from year 1998, for this reason, emphasize gratefulness to the support and unconditional advising that the present management of CVG Minerven has maintained.

He aimed in addition that this support has been translated in the permanent provision of raw material, so that the goldsmiths can process and give added value to that valuable metal.

Also, they sent a warm greeting to him to minister Rodolfo Sanz and president Cold Hugo Chavez, exhorting them to maintain to the front of CVG Minerven the present president, who, for being expert in the mining area it has come carrying out a right work altogether with the communities from the south of the State Bolivar, as well as the companies of Social Production as the case of this cooperative.

Fulfilling work social

This project was born with “a pilot” group of 20 goldsmiths with own factory. This way the challenge was assumed to activate and to recover this sector, which at past times had been the fundamental motor of the economy of the Pebble (more than 300 goldsmiths). With the activation of these 20 original goldsmiths, a great total of 100 direct uses, and 300 indirect ones were generated five direct uses by factory, doing approximately.
