Current union government to initiate dialogue on the state of core enterprises

The five current union in the region said that last weekend was a meeting in
Caracas, with senior representatives of the National Government as appropriate to the situation of state enterprises, to correct anomalies within industries. Andrew Rengel, Sutralum secretary general said in the meeting with the Ministers of Basic Industries and Mining, Rodolfo Sanz, Minister of Planning and Development, Jorge Giordani, Minister of Finance, Alí Rodríguez Araque, Minister of Labor, Maria Cristina Iglesias, as well as the Executive Vice President of the Republic Ramón Carrizález.
Rengel said that the meeting served to provide in-depth knowledge of the high
government of the problems existing in the aluminum industry, steel, iron
briquettes and the region, and establish points of agreement to tackle the
situation politically, for the welfare political and economic union.
He commented that one of the points agreed is a visit to the region for the May
14, the delegation of Ministers and the reality exposed by the workers also know
the possible solutions to the problems generated by the trade unions with
participation active employee. "There will be the working agenda is to attack
the problem and the strategic guidelines to be taken to benefit the recovery of
businesses and workers, by what we know the reality"
He said that the meeting was harmonious and positive, which was conducted in a
climate of peace and there was no imposition of any agreement or proposal by the top government also heard that the needs for change and progress within the business state.
