This is the treaty GRZ would use before the Canada/Venezuela becomes possible in 6 months. It seems to do the same job, and is a short easy to understand document which some here may be interested in. GRZ corporate structure includes a holding company incorporated in Barbados (a relatively common practice with Canadian companies because it has tax advantages) and it apparently gives them legal standing in Barbados. Of course the prospect of Hugo stiffing a small Caribbean country wouldn't go down well with some of his other "friends" in the region.
