"I key difference between the Barbados/Venezuelan BIT and the Canada/Venezuelan BIT is the Barbados treaty does not require the 6month cool down period. Gold reserve could very well go to arbitration tomorrow if they wanted to… whereas the Canada treaty requires the cool down period. I really don’t think GR would ever wait for 6 months…"

Maybe they time it with our arbitration announcement? Interesting. IMHO.
