As has been stated by no_bear and Boss on countless occasions there is much that goes on behind the scenes here on this board. Many PMs are exchanged to try and diffuse a situation before it gets to the point where a member is banned. Banning is a drastic step and a last resort. A step that is taken with extreme seriousness by all hub leaders.
Out of respect and privacy to each poster warnings are given via PMs that are not seen by everyone on this board. It is the responsibility of each person to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner when they share ideas and information. Many who know a post will become heated and flagged in public will sometimes choose to make their point toward/to others in private. I'm not saying that this was the case with Don, I'm merely making a point that there are other dynamics at play here then what the general public is privy to.
Know this to be a fact. If a person is banned....there is just cause. It is not done as a whim by a hub leader trying to throw power around. If that were the case, Agoracom would remove us in a snap and there'd be no one left to keep the board clean, relevant and functioning in the manner that it does....day in and day out.
Warnings and exchanges in PM will not be made public so that the entire board knows why an individual was banned. Such debate and dialog regarding a banning will only reduce this board to the level of those we are trying to rise above. Our focus is KRY.
Boss and no_bear set up this hub with a specific vision and purpose in mind. The hub leaders work hard as a TEAM to make the decisions that need to be made and to follow in that path. When an action is taken it matters not who's hand pushed the button. It was a joint decision made for the good of the board.
No one is whinning, crying or complaining here. If the atmosphere on the Agoracom KRY board is too restrictive or not to the liking of an individual then they are always free to post on other boards.
