The mayor of Major of Caracas, Antonio Ledezma, in an act realised in San Cristóbal, Táchira, called to the National Armed Forces to that he remembers the concept of the disobedience of illegal acts and advanced a series of initiatives that could be developed to face what called “dictatorial regime”. The metropolitan mayor of Caracas, Antonio Ledezma, asked the military who stop unconditionally endorsing president Hugo Chavez and announced a general offensive against his Government. “I make a call to the National Armed Forces to that it remembers the concept of the disobedience of illegal acts”, said Ledezma in a public assembly of competing leaders celebrated in San Cristóbal. “If they continue guaranteeing unconstitutional acts, if they continue committing crimes against the human rights, have slope that exists the Statute of Rome that this effective one anywhere in the world”, noticed Ledezma. The Caracas mayor raised his belief that a “national front” against Chávez would have to form and advanced a series of initiatives that could be developed of almost immediate way to face what called “dictatorial regime”. “We think that it is hour to summon a national front in defense of the Venezuelan democracy”, showed Ledezma during the act to that also they attended the mayor of Maracaibo, Manuel Rosales, and the governors of opposition, Caesar Perez, of the Táchira, and Henrique Rooms, of Carabono, besides other leaders of the opposition. “I am going to propose that they are realised the sooner national days in defense to the right of the convention of the collective hiring and a day of national civic protest against the high cost of the life and against the insecurity”, announced the metropolitan mayor. In addition, Ledezma said that also it will propose “that the regions organize referendo consultative so that they say if the money that the national Government by IVA concept acquires go to Caracas or those taxes it has left to each region”. Ledezma indicated that assemblies as the organized one yesterday in San Cristóbal “must repeat itself” because “it is hour to risk what it is necessary to save the freedom and the democracy that are in risk”.
