Members of the Committee on Energy and Mines of the National Assembly (AN) will arrive next Friday to Ciudad Guayana order to inspect the operational and financial base of companies, after the aluminum sector workers out of the diagnosis them with any proposals that help to rescue the crisis on Wednesday in Caracas.

The information released by the NA deputy, Angel Marcano, who said that during the visit of the commission, the workers will have the opportunity to express the true reality that we live in the industries in Guyana.

Congressman still unknown what are the areas to monitor and schedule of activities that will be running the delegation, but gave assurance that each company will be inspected by this representation.

"There is crisis and lack of adequate technology," said Marcano, as one of the points highlighted during the introduction of the discussion.

He noted that once the assessment, a restoration plan to emerge between the national government and the workers with the aim to reinvigorate the optimization of the factory and, therefore, to revive the region.

Companies are struggling with the crisis

In view of the global financial crisis that has swept away many jobs in the Venezuelan companies have kept alive the issue of employment due to labor immobility decree by the president of the republic, Hugo Chávez.

Even viewed as an achievement in times of "lean" the minimum wage has increased by 20% and still ensure the benefits of the working class throughout the duration of contracts.

"In the last speech to make the president gave assurance that the rights of all workers were insured," he said.

The deputy added that Chavez in his speech said that all state enterprises, in general, receive the resources needed for recovery of its operational areas and basic industries were excluded.

However, he said that such investments shall be managed by workers.

Invest in downstream

In his speech, Marcano said that to ensure the companies were to process their own ore and not export it, it felt important to develop the project downstream.

"No country is giving manner ... its raw material," said Marcano.

In addition to demonstrating its ability to produce derivatives of mineral, businesses are cutting costs.

The conflict in the private sector

For its part, the secretary general of the Union of Alcasa (Sintralcasa), José Gil, said that layoffs possibly perpetrated by private enterprises in the region are due to a destabilizing acts by some politicians to attack the government .

"Despite the immobility, these companies have to create situations of conflict and is a ploy of the opposition to run this series of layoffs," he said.

On the other hand, indicated that the private sector industries are also part of a gear with some of the industries of the state. If a company falls core, says Gil, private are handicapped.

Was taken as an example the case of the aluminum sector. There is a kind of domino effect if Bauxilum left of producing alumina, would be affected immediately Alcasa and Venalum, who in turn inhibit the production of smaller companies that are responsible for processing aluminum, mostly in the private sector.

However, the Secretary of Labor and the Union Grievance Single Aluminum Workers (Sutralum), Pedro Perales said that this situation does not cease to be a simple assumption because these predictions could still be realized if the investments are not immediate.

Bauxilum provides assurances that only 16 thousand tons of alumina, which guarantees the production of primary aluminum six days, when science should receive some 45 thousand tons of raw ore.

There must be a solution

The teamwork between the mass workers' and unions could pay off, is what leaders are betting that make life in the core businesses, said José Sánchez, secretary general of Sutralúmina Bolivar.

Said that politicians have been playing for the failure of core business instead of fulfilling its true role in the workplace which is boosting its development.
