Energy and Mines Committee began discussion of Act Petroquímica
Caracas, Mar. 11 ABN .- The Committee on Energy and Mines of the National Assembly began the analysis of the Organic Act of the petrochemical assets and other priority projects.
The information provided on Wednesday the vice president's legislative body, Ernesto Graterol, who said that this law must comply with the guidelines of the revolutionary project.
'We can not have the vision of a petrochemical plant in what was northern coastal development, but to diversify into regions, as in the Barinas state, "he said.
He noted that in this region llanera petrochemical projects are developed to streamline this process, along with farming activities in the sector.
It also discussed the law of the electricity sector, and therefore, has been invited next week, the chairman of the Electricity Corporation, Hipolito Izquierdo general, the purpose of explaining their views on this instrument, referred Graterol.
The member of the bloc United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) commented that Izquierdo has been making a number approaches to the Ministry of People's Power for Energy and Petroleum on some aspects of the bill of the electricity sector.
He stressed that members of the Committee on Energy and Mines is interested in hearing the views and suggestions of that officer, that could be taken into account in the Act
He said that the Mining Act is another project that will be studied and discussed in the context of regular sessions of Parliament.
