guys, i think you missed the "simplistic" part.......no matter how you cut it...the money exists...it was'nt magical credit/derivitives that just disappeared....the bank loaned somebody cash to buy the home....someone recieved cash when they sold it......thats why i think it would be cheaper and better to just let the bad banks fold and insure the depositors....would'nt hurt me... this thread got real off topic so if we continue i'd suggest the OT board for future posts..but i like the discussion and wanted to post this.....it struck me...
