Nomar - I would not want to dim your enthusiasm but I'd not call the closings for the last few weeks strong. There IS however a pattern and if I or someone can figure it out...
KRY basically trades down most of every day, usually at the low of the day. Rises in price are caused by relatively small orders bumping it up from the low at the end of the day and forming a base for the next day...but most of the day's trading takes place below the close every day and within a 1/2 penny range.
What I find interesting is that the trade that keeps bumping KRY up everyday, whether that is back to the previous close or up off the low is almopst always a single trade of 400 shares that goes off 3 seconds after the bell. That is a very weak recovery yet somehow it keeps it up for the following day.
Odd... My guess is MM keeping liquidity and price afloat...but why?
