Ciudad Bolivar, Mar. 03 ABN .- It is necessary for the workforce and the population of Bolivar state trust plans to rescue the industry from aluminum to be announced shortly by the national government, through the Ministry of People's Power for Basic Industry and Mining (Mibam).

This call was made Tuesday that the governor of this entity, Francisco Rangel Gomez, when asked about the different approaches issued by political, industrial and social crisis that affects companies producing bauxite and aluminum, depending on the Corporación Venezolana Guayana (CVG), which has been recognized by government officials and unions.

'I think it is important to wait for the ads that will make Mibam Minister, Rodolfo Sanz, and will be assessed at the Executive Cabinet. We, as governor of Bolivar, we are ready to support him in everything that is possible for companies to go forward base ', he stressed.

He also called for patience workers and industries that require a solution to this crisis and added that much of the problem of financial and operating companies core product is a temporary situation for the fall in the price of aluminum, iron and steel in international markets.

'These prices fell almost at the same time and in the same magnitude as the oil price, which affects these factories that depend heavily on the export of their products, "he said.

Similarly, Governor Rangel Gomez reiterated its readiness to meet with unions and business associations, upon request, based on proposals and seek ways to contribute to the national government's effort to advance the state-owned enterprises.

'I believe that despite the crisis and businesses have options to move ahead. We have a great potential in the Bolivar state to consolidate the non-oil industry and we also have input from our employees who have great experience and determination to fight, "he added.

Further referred to the president, Hugo Chávez Frías, has always had a strong political impetus to the industry in the state of Bolivar.

'Recently we had President Chavez in Ciudad Piar with the revival of Cerro Bolivar, where he made several important announcements about projects ferrosiderúrgicos,' he recalled.

He added that in the next few days awaiting a return visit by the president for the commencement of earthmoving for a new steel to be built near Ciudad Piar.

'There are high expectations for the national government's plans for our region and we should expect major announcements, no doubt, will on the restructuring of the aluminum sector, "he said.
