Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
I second that motion.
It's easy to tell when someone has lost a lot of money and and has a gripe with the rest of us, realistic optimists.
One cannot compare KRY's current situation with the KRY in the peak of the last golden era days for Chaves when oil was 80+.
For all we know it could all be as simple as that. Chaves had oil $$ coming out of his ass and mining was put on the backburner. Now that reality comes crashing down hard on Mr. Hugo, he damn well has to get off his dependace on oil as the only source of revenue and get his administration to put together a mining law that his country so desperately needs in order to get ANY condifence back in VZ. Otherwise his days are numbered and uhmmm well... I can't see that being a negative thing for KRY.
I am happy that smart minds on this board have analyzed the situation from almost every imaginable angle and are coming to similar conclusions.
So now we see RML running around like a crack head claiming all kinds of success in VZ through questionable idiots like Roy and trying to convince us that they are the only game in town. Until I hear it from the horses mouth..... If anything they know that a law is in the works that will allow any and all interested parties to become involved in VZ if they so wish to do and are trying to take advantage of that situation. I applaude GRZ shareholders and management!
For those that need an example of this, need only to think of what happened in Ecuador recently. Aurelian's 14M oz Fruta del Norte deposit was pretty much hijacked by Kinross, whose low ball bid was only successful due to the overplayed political risk factor which in hindsight, no longer exists. Just look what happened to DMM's share price if you need evidence of this..
So, I for one do not like people like Don-wys coming on this board claiming nonsense that is fed by their own grief of having lost money on KRY before. All of us are adults here and realize the risks involved yet we chose to invest money and continue to believe in a positive outcome in this melodrama.
By him finding clever ways to continue to paint a bleak picture for the rest of usdoes not contribute anything to this board and I ain't buyign it either!
So Don, here's to you:
