3rd and 4th world countries have many underprivileged populations who just do not have the capacities to fully understand what a dictator's (Chavez) real motivations are. The populations are so underprivileged that they have been blinded with visions of spending benefits that they are so desperately in need of (who can blame them) during times of available excess funds; these Chavez supporters will be stunned in disbelief when the dictator turns on them, which is only a matter of time, given the state of world economies that will affect Venezuela if not already. He can prove all of us wrong with smart decision making...well..let's see what he does which will be the message, but do not expect him to stray from his usual and normal path.
What is sad is the Chavez used his powers to get his vote out and to suppress any opposition which is the dictator at will. As I mentioned earlier, Chavez was not going to rest until he got his desired outcome which is to rule until he is 94; so let him have what he wants and hope he takes action on other agenda issues such as putting some miners to work etc. His actions will tell us the story and whether or not he realizes it he will need others outside his country, outside the russian empire, to get his socialist projects advanced. Lets see if he gets it..I do have my doubts, but would love to be surprized.
The referendum is done...we move on to other issues...
