Employers seek mediation of Chavez in core businesses
Thursday, 05 February 2009
In the event of installation of the Front for the SI Business,
Governor Francisco Rangel Gomez made a commitment to act as mediator
to the Mibam and CVG.
The business of Guyana, under the leadership of Fedecamaras Bolivar,
is calling for direct intervention of President Hugo Chávez, in the
solution "urgent and ultimately the case with the long and high
delinquency of core businesses in the payment of invoices issued by
suppliers of goods and services.
Senen Torrealba, chairman of the regional leadership of the business,
said the issue was addressed in the context of a political event that
developed Tuesday in Puerto Ordaz, where the Governor Francisco
Rangel Gomez was present, accompanying the national coordinator of
the Frente de Empresarios by SI, Miguel Perez Abad, who came to
install the regional circuit.
There, the regional president, invited the business sector and to
reflect honestly on a desk, to find alternatives to resolve
delinquency status of the core business, offering to mediate in this
respect, before and Mibam CVG.
Correspondence issued
Senen Torrealba stressed that accepting the offer in hope of
brokering of Governor Rangel Gomez Fedecamaras Bolivar him with a
correspondence to the President of the Republic, which asks its
direct intervention in the case, explaining that it stands in
Guyana "a delicate and explosive situation, unpredictable effects" by
the prolonged late payment of invoices issued to the core business by
SMEs in the region and other parts of the country.
In that correspondence, Fedecamaras Bolivar regrets that so far the
MIBAM and its owner, Rodolfo Sanz, partners have not been timely,
diligent and therefore worthy to address the case brought by the
necessary dialogue and consultation with those affected and their
representative bodies This is as expected, creating an atmosphere of
unease, frustration, despair and anguish in the productive sectors.
Repeatedly reported that the Federation of Chambers and Associations
of Commerce and Production of Bolivar state, has requested the
Minister Sanz establishing a dialogue to find outlets for this
crisis, but so far have not received any response from the chief
executive , resulting in our view, a lack of approach and willingness
to face the reality of this region and its core business, which under
his administration have fallen into the most critical of all his
history. (Press Fedecamaras Bolivar)
