Nino, look who was condemning these attacks two days ago, probably the only time we see Canada involved in anything:

Diplomatic representatives stationed in the country visited the synagogue on Monday Maripérez to express their rejection of the actions perpetrated the early hours of last Friday and solidarity with the Venezuelan Jewish community.

In a brief tour, the diplomats were able to personally see the damage to the temple and desecrated the administrative facilities of the synagogue. All agreed to condemn what they described as hostile acts and called for the prompt action of the national government to find those responsible.

"The Canadian government rejects and condemns this attack and we urge the Venezuelan government to honor its commitment to investigate this crime and bring offenders to justice," said Canadian Ambassador James Calderwood.

For his part, French Ambassador Hadelin de La Tour-Du-Pin, stressed that "the guarantee of protection is a feature of democracy. We hope that the reckless and condemnable acts of some are not going to destroy the coexistence and peace in Venezuela. "

The U.S. ambassador, John Caufield, stressed the international significance of the event. "It's a story that has come to the United States and many other paísers. Many Americans have expressed their sadness, their concern, "he said.

The Jewish community welcomed the gesture and made a request to the National Government.

"Given the circumstances, I deeply appreciate. We would like a more personal approach by senior officials of government in which we ensure safety in this and all the institutions that make Jewish life in Venezuela. That would calm and comfort to the Jewish community, "said the chairman of the Israeli Association of Venezuela, Farach Elijah, who also asked for permanent custody of the seat.
