Not sure how long it will take for the judge to make his decision but here is a recent example that it took the judge 10 days in this case. I know apples and oranges here with the companies.

Dec 11 - Rimm makes bid for Certicom for 1.50...Certicom trading at
1.73 that day.

Dec 22 - Certicom files injunction to hostile bid and sets Jan 9 for
hearing.

Jan 19 - Judge grants permanent restaining order of hostile bid.
Certicom trades at 1.80.

Jan 20 - Rimm withdraws offer.

Jan 23 - Verisign makes offer for 2.10. Certicom trades to 2.34.

Today - Rimm returns and doubles offer to 3.00.
